A truly gifted teacher, Selena is known for motivating her students through her own passion.

Fully certified in Yoga and a Rehabilitation Therapist, and having worked in the wellness community for the past 20 years, she teaches from a deep understanding of movement dynamics and the body. Keeping students engaged using unique modifications and variations to the classic repertoire, her sessions encourage focus and concentration. She continually supports her desires to learn new methods and her ability to help one find strength and ease through practice. She believes in the deep healing power of yoga. It is her desire to create space that allows for greater depth, awareness and overall wellbeing in one’s practice.

Flexibility is in the mind!

How do we see the world? What is perception? And how does our heart tie into this? My personal experiences keep teaching me that “life is the practice” and incorporating techniques that allow us:
- more joy,
- more mental peace and
- more community,
This is definitely my core concentration. 

Heart, Mind and Body: these are a part of my teaching style. Mind Heart based yoga. From guiding students in high schools, or adults in studios, festivals or now online via tools such as Zoom, we keep on forging gaps. Teaching a community class or leading corporate sessions, all interplay for me because our common goal is yoking (yoga) mental health, and body love. Forget the “I am not flexible.” Flexibility is in the mind, allows for all to come and give it a try.
